Active Directory Integration and Single Sign On
Users within large organisations have to work with many internal and external systems during their working day. Forcing them to remember additional username and passwords for these systems can be a pain point and can cause real friction when adopting new systems and processes.
This is why Remando provides the hooks to be integrated into a company's single sign-on strategy where the user only has to know one username and password combination to be able to access all systems in the organisation. This can be implemented either through a bespoke internal single sign on strategy, or via Active Directory. When integrated with Active Directory, the user can log into Remando automatically, and the username that they logged into their PC is used for indentification and authorisation.
HR Software Integration
Remando can help you leverage data from your internal HR data sources such as PeopleSoft or SAP. Through internal configuration staff details such as email address, names, organisation hierarchies and employee relationships can be fed into Remando, or linked in real-time.
Data gathered about employees in Remando can feed external processes such as renumeration or annual appraisals via automated data feeds and exports. This information can also loop back into internal HR systems for archiving or consolidated reporting tasks.
Remando supports role-based security profiles with the addition of account level data access controls, defined by responsibility links.
This enables tight control of enterprise data to be retained whilst still empowering users to manage their workload effectively.
Specific emphasis has been placed on usability features to make using Remando a simple, intuitive and rewarding experience that delivers rich data access and process automation with the least effort and the maximum degree of flexibility.
The application is built using Datalogic Solutions' hiJump application framework that leverages a sophisticated core domain model and simplified user interface architecture, to deliver speed and scalability even across narrow-bandwidth networks.
Various opportunities exist to integrate Remando with a client's existing control solutions to ease the project implementation and deliver meaningful change fast. All integration solutions work at the divisional level so that a heterogeneous architecture can be supported without losing the benefits of enterprise wide reporting from a single instance.
